Windows 7 PC To Be Scraped Next Year - Microsoft

Following the successful launch of Windows 10 operating system world wide, Microsoft have quietly updated their life cycle page. From what we saw, Microsoft already ended mainstream support for Windows 7 PC’s on the 13th of January, 2015. Extended support for Windows 7 PC’s ends January 14th, 2020. Quite a long time? The more interesting news is that starting from 31st of October 2016, OEM’s will stop shipping new computers with Windows 7 pre-intstalled. Retail software sales for Windows 8 and 8.1 is already ended to pave way for the new Windows 10.
