1. Genevieve Nnaji: Genevieve Nnaji is a very intelligent woman and with her good command of English, you wouldn't know that she didn’t acquire a University Degree, even several years after saying that she would go back to school. She’s been able to amass wealth with her acting career. Genevieve Nnaji is considered to be one of the best-paid actresses in Nollywood.
2. Wizkid: Wizkid dropped out of Lead City University in his second year and at that time, nobody thought it was a bad idea considering the money was swimming in.
Anyways, Wizkid still has ambition to go to school as he seems to hold it in high esteem.
3. D’banj: Dbanj is one of the leading musicians in Africa. And we all remember his split from the Mohit all stars group.
D’banj dropped out of school in his 3rd year in Mechanical Engineering. Plans to continue his studies as a mechanical engineer in London were derailed when he arrived in the UK in 2001, and met Don Jazzy who was trying to make it as a songwriter and producer.
4. Ramsey Nouah: Nouah was born in Edo State. He grew up in Surulere, Lagos, where he attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School.
He obtained a diploma at the University of Lagos, after which he pursued a career in acting. Although he revealed in an interview that he didn’t get a university degree, Ramsey’s entire career is a huge success.
5. Tuface Idibia: Innocent Idibia is nationally and internationally known for his musical success and needs no introduction. Tuface as he’s popularly called attended Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State. He enrolled at Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management.
While attending IMT, he performed at school organised shows and parties. He eventually dropped out to pursue his music career. He has been honoured with several honorary degrees due to his developmental works in the society.

6. Mercy Johnson: Mercy Johnson is a popular Nollywood actress. She is one of the highest paid actresses in Nollywood.
Mercy Johnson Okojie revealed that she got into the Nigerian movie industry because she failed the university entrance exams (JAMB) several times. She said she’d love to go back to school but we’ve not heard about her schooling.
7. 9ice: The ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner, Ajibogun Adigun Alapomeji was studying law at the Lagos State University but for some reason dropped out to concentrate on music.
Funny enough, 9ice has added politics to his long lists of achievements.
8. Don Jazzy: He is a don in the Nigerian music industry.
The prolific songwriter, music producer and C.E.O of Mavin Records dropped out of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in his first year.
Nevertheless, it looks like things are making sense for him.
9. Timaya: Timaya has always been very open about not having a university degree. The Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa once revealed that although his parents wanted him in school, all he wanted to do was pursue his musical career. Thankfully, music paid off and Timaya can boast of having a fat account and a blooming musical career as he has been a role model to the likes of Patoranking and other upcoming dancehall artistes.
10. Van Vicker: He is a Nollywood/Gollywood actor. In an interview, he said he regrets not obtaining a university degree. But he’s making waves in the movie industry and he’s one of the handsome actors in the movie industry.
